What I Wore – It’s Not All Black And White

Black Sweater (Banana Republic) | White Jeans (Target) | Pink Tote (Marshalls) Black Boots (Nine West/DSW) | Gold Necklace (Target)   I teased via Instagram (BlitzAndGlam) a couple of weeks ago that these neon totes at Marshalls were giving me spring fever.  I simply could not leave the store without one.  This tote is definitely a quick fix for these cold, dreary, winter days.  And this sweater.  You thought it was just a plain, black sweater.  It's not.  Much like these jeans.     I sometimes have some other random stuff to say, so I decided to start shooting short videos where I can talk about those things.  Here's the first video with my thoughts on NBC's Parenthood.     (Photos/Lindsay Wynne Photography) ...

Game Day Glam – Wristlets [VIDEO]

In an effort to increase public safety and expedite entry into games, the NFL announced last week that it will limit the size and types of bags allowed in stadiums starting this preseason.  According to the new bag policy, the only bags allowed inside will be: Small, clear, plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags that do no exceed 12" x 6" x 12" One gallon clear, plastic freezer bags Small clutch bag approximately the size of a hand Since I don't plan to carry my items in a Ziploc bag (and I'm sure you don't either) and I'm not really into clear bags that will allow everyone to see what I'm carrying, I thought that I would browse online for some cute wristlets that might fit the "size...

Game Day Glam – Accessories [VLOG]

Accessories, accessories, accessories!  As much as I love accessories, I think that I don't have enough.  Well, recently a jewelry and accessories company called Pretty Girl Glam sent me some accessories - earrings to be exact!  I first learned of Pretty Girl Glam through my friend Trina (The Baby Shopaholic) at Blogalicious 11.  When I saw the earrings she was wearing the first day of the conference I had to know where she got them and she told me about Pretty Girl Glam.  I visited their site and saw many more pieces that I really liked.  And you know what was even better than the jewelry?  The prices.  Their pieces are so affordable!  If you don't want to spend a lot on trendy pieces, this is a...

What’s In My Game Day Bag? – Packers At Panthers [VIDEO]

I hope you're not tired of my posts from the Packers and Panthers game, because I've got more one more for you.  Actually, this time I have a video.  I had planned to film a video before I left for the game to show you what was in my game day bag, but I ran short on time (it was a lazy Sunday morning) so I set up my camera after the game and made this video.  Thankfully, it only took me 3 takes to get a good video (Take 1 I said "Pathers and Pankers game" and Take 2 my camera wasn't recording).   I bought this bag a little over a month ago on my birthday.  I was shoe shopping at DSW in Atlanta and this...

Carolina Panthers Training Camp [VIDEO]

Saturday, I took a trip to Spartanburg, SC to attend the first Training Camp practice of the Carolina Panthers.  Now, I know you're thinking, "Aren't you a Saints fan?"  Indeed, I am.  You've been paying attention.  However, aside from being a Cam Newton fan, I'm a football fan, so I was glad to have the opportunity to check out a little football, regardless of the team.  The Panthers celebrated the start of their training camp with a Back to Football party at Gibbs Stadium Plaza on the campus of Wofford College from 4:30-6:30 p.m. with live music, cheerleaders, food, and fun for the kids.  Practice immediately followed the party from 6:30-8:30 p.m., after which players took the time to sign autographs, greet the...

100 Recipes Every Woman Should Know

As you may know, I am a Glambassador for Glamour magazine.  From time to time, I receive surprise packages in the mail from Glamour.  Recently, I received two separate packages.  One package was my Glambassador welcome kit containing my Glambassador guide, a Glamour tote bag, and a Glambassador notepad.     The second package was a copy of a book by Glamour called 100 Recipes Every Woman Should Know: Engagement Chicken and 99 Other Fabulous Dishes to Get You Everything You Want In Life.  I had previously heard of this book and was so excited to receive a copy that I decided to do a video about it.  Want your own copy of this book?  Pay close attention to the end of the video to find...

What’s In My Bag? – Super Bowl In Style Edition

Hey guys!  It's super late and I should be asleep since I have to get up in about 4 hours to catch a flight to Dallas, but I thought that I would film a short video for you guys to say "Hi" and "Thank you" and to show you what I'm carrying in my airplane carry-on bag.  I filmed this video just before midnight after I finished packing the last few items for the trip (if I look sleepy, it's because I am. I've been up since 5 a.m.).  I hope you enjoy the video and I hope to bring you more videos in the future.  (Disclaimer - The lighting is not the best, because as I got ready to...

What’s In My Bag? – VH1′s Football Wives Dawn Neufeld

I recently received a great suggestion from one of my mentors, Shameeka Ayers (also known as  The Broke Socialite), to do a series of blog posts along the lines of the ever popular "What's In My Bag?" videos seen all over You Tube.  I thought it was a brilliant idea, after all BAG stands for Blitz And Glam!  You know I had to put my own football spin on it, so I asked Blitz And Glam friend and supporter, Dawn Neufeld from VH1's Football Wives, to be my first "What's In My Bag?" guest.  Check out what's in Dawn's bag:         Thanks again to Dawn for being my very first guest vlogger!  If you want to learn more about Dawn, check out her blog, The Gridiron Goddess, and "Like" her Facebook...
