If you live in the DC area, you're single, and you're interested in meeting new people, then you should check out The Offline Society. The Offline Society "curate(s) gatherings for the romantically unattached who appreciate the value of chemistry and conversation." They recently invited me (and a friend) to attend their Offline Birthday Fete at Wonderbox in Washington, DC. As promised, it was a night of good music, good food (the mac and cheese balls were delicious!), cocktails, and fun. And the location was perfect – an event space in an alley at the border of Northwest and Northeast DC. But my favorite part was meeting new people and taking fun photos in the photobooth.
If you're interested in learning more, check out their website linked above. It's free to become a member. You can also get more information on their next event, a private tour of an art installation in Downtown DC.
