On September 26, I will be riding in the American Diabetes Association Tour de Cure in Washington, D.C. as a Red Rider. A Red Rider is any rider who has diabetes. *raises hand* That's me. In order to ride, I must raise a minimum of $200, but, of course, I hope to raise much more than that. Right now, I'm training to do the 13 mile ride and would love your support to help me reach my fundraising goal and exceed it. Head over to my fundraising page to make a donation.
Keep checking back here as I update you on my training and keep you posted on my fundraising total. Follow me on Instagram (BlitzAndGlam) to see photos from my bike rides, training, and more. Also, if you live in the D.C. area, you can check into volunteer opportunities for the day of the ride.
I'm super pumped about this ride, because this will be my first ride ever! There's something about riding my bike that makes me feel so free and carefree. I love it. Are you a cyclist? Do you enjoy bike riding as much as I do? Have you ever participated in a bike ride? Are you riding in a Tour de Cure in your city (I would have riden in the one in Charlotte, but I didn't have enough time to train, so I decided to ride in D.C.).
