Yesterday, the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks took on the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLIX in Glendale, Arizona. In case you're the one person who didn't watch the game or tune in just for the commercials, the New England Patriots are the new Super Bowl Champions. The end of the Super Bowl means the end of football season. My team's season pretty much sucked so I cannot say that I am sad to see this season come to an end.
With football season over and so many TV hours free, I started thinking of what shows I am excited about that will be starting soon or in the next couple of months.
The Walking Dead. I just binge-watched this on Netflix and AMC's website at the end of last year and I AM HOOKED.
Being Mary Jane. I like a good drama, especially when the character is somewhat relatable. This will be Season 2 and if it's anything like the first season, there will be plenty of drama.
House of Cards. Two words – Claire Underwood. Ok, Frank Underwood is quite an interesting character, too, but Claire's fashion alone will probably have me binge-watching Season 3 on Netflix in one weekend.
Orange Is The New Black. I don't think this starts back until the spring, but last season was SO good that I've been anxiously awaiting Season 3.
Shahs of Sunset. Because I know Vanderpump Rules will be ending soon and I need some more Bravo foolishness in my life.
Now, I know you're wondering, "where's Scandal? Where's How To Get Away With Murder?" Well, I have a confession. I'm pretty much out on Scandal. I haven't really watched any episodes this season and I don't feel like I'm missing out. I tried to watch HTGAWM the first episode, but it didn't draw me in. I really wanted to like it. I also have to admit that when it comes to TV shows, Netflix has pretty much ruined me for the week-to-week viewing. I'm all about a good binge-watch, so maybe I'll try these later when I can binge watch them. Speaking of, two shows that I recently binge-watched on Netflix are The Killing and Bomb Girls. Look them up and thank me later.
What show are you watching and what are you looking forward to returning?
