You should know by now that I'm always going to do something a little different to make my Game Day look unique; to make it stand out from the crowd. I mean, if you go to a game the chance that someone else is wearing the same team apparel that you have on is pretty high. And I've never been one who wants to look like everyone else, which is why I don't own any team jerseys. But what I do own are several cute Saints tees (who doesn't love a great tee?).
This tee is a new one that I recently added to my collection courtesy of Touch by Alyssa Milano. In the fall, I'm all about layering tees – either a cardigan, jacket, or blazer on top of it or a button-down shirt underneath or both. Here I decided to layer it with a button-down shirt. [Note: This is where those who think that if you dress up or want to look cute for a game, you’re not really into football can exit.] If it's not too cold, a pleated skirt is always a good idea.
Now, for the shoes. The top half says, "I'm preppy, I'm cute, I'm classic," but the shoes is where you can add a twist. These Steve Madden lace booties from Off Broadway Shoe Warehouse are just the shoes for that. They're cute, they're trendy, and they're fun and they look just as good with jeans as they do with this skirt. If you decide that you're not quite ready to go to a game in a skirt and decide on jeans instead, these booties still work. Either way, stick with me and you're guaranteed to be the best dressed at the game.
How would you describe your Game Day style?
