As you know, I had the pleasure of working with Concord Mills recently on a Fall Fashion segment on Charlotte Today on WCNC. Concord Mills gave me a $250 Simon American Express card with the mission of putting together a fall look for the career woman. Being a career woman who loves fall fashion, I was super excited about this opportunity. I mean, fall is made for fashion. Think blazers and jackets, boots and booties, menswear inspired looks, texture, and fall colors.
When I arrived at Concord Mills, I almost couldn't decide where to shop first. Banana Republic Factory Store is one of my favorite stores, but I decided to look in Saks Off Fifth first. After that, I did a little window shopping at Michael Kors, Coach, and J. Crew before finally giving in to Banana Republic. Within 5 minutes I had an armful of pieces to try on (check out my Instagram account to see those pieces – @BlitzAndGlam).
After I selected my outfit, there was only one place to go next – Off Broadway Shoe Warehouse. This is one of my favorite places to shop for shoes because of the variety and reasonable prices. And I knew exactly what type of shoes I wanted with this look – peep-toe booties. They had several cute options, but I walked out with these Guess booties. As soon as I put them on my feet I knew they were the ones. Trust me when I say that I am going to wear these booties out this fall and winter! I love them!
As much as I love fall fashion, I also love a good day-to-night look. This look will take me from the office to an event, drinks with friends, or on a date. If you're in the Charlotte area or plan to visit the Charlotte area, you must plan a shopping trip to Concord Mills. It had been a while since I had gone, but this shopping trip reminded me how much I like shopping there. Check out the video from Charlotte Today below. Many thanks to Concord Mills for this great opportunity!
