I Have Nothing To Wear tee (c/o 9th & Elm) | Blazer (The Limited) | White Jeans (Target) | Guess Sandals (c/o Marshalls)
Cole Haan Sunglasses (c/o Marshalls) | Clutch (Urban Expressions) | Name Necklace (c/o 9th & Elm) | Bow Earrings (Old Navy)
We all do it. We look in our closet full of clothes and declare, "I have nothing to wear." Come on. Admit it. You do it too. I know I do it at least once a week. Why do we do this? Clearly, we have a lot of clothes to wear. I think we just get tired of wearing the same things, because let's be honest. We probably only wear about 30-40% of the clothes in our closet regularly (I totally just made this number up; no scientific research was conducted to arrive at this percentage). That's why I like to play in my closet, mixing and matching different pieces to come up with great new looks.
I ordered this tee from a website called 9th & Elm. It's a place where you can find lots of handmade and different designs, usually for a limited amount of time. I love a fitted tee and I think this one is very tongue-in-cheek for a style blogger.
When I have somewhere to go, but I think the event isn't super casual nor super dressy, a tee, jeans, and a blazer is my go-to look. Try it the next time you think that you have nothing to wear.
I also ordered my gold-plated name necklace from 9th & Elm (I'll be sure to get a close-up photo of it for a future What I Wore post, but until then, I'll be sure to post a close up photo on Instagram – BlitzAndGlam). I'd been wanting one for some time now, so I was super excited to see that a designer was selling them on 9th & Elm for a great price. It has become one of my new favorite necklaces. Head over to 9th & Elm to find more cool pieces.
