As someone who is diabetic, I decided that it is time for me to take even more control of my health by watching what I eat even more closely. I make a habit of keeping a mental note of the amount of carbs, sodium, and fat that I eat. One way to take better control is by cooking more. Yes, I am going to tie on an apron and sharpen my cooking skills. So, I headed to Marshalls to see if I could find some cookware that would get me excited about cooking. Mission accomplished. I scored 5 matching pieces of Cuisinart cookware plus some cooking utensils. (Can I be honest for a minute? Thanks. I don't even really know what to cook in all of these, but they matched and it was a great deal, so I bought all of them.)
I've decided that the first dish I cook must include crawfish. I love crawfish. So, I've been looking up crawfish recipes on Pinterest and pinned several to my Food board. Here are the top contenders:
