Could you tell from my tweets and photos on Instagram that I had a great time at Blogalicious? From the sessions and speakers to the Scandal party (I was too tired to make the McDonald's party unfortunately) to meeting other bloggers to hanging out with old blogger friends, it was everything that I needed at this moment in my blogging career. The biggest takeaway from the conference for me didn't come from any one speaker or session. It came from the entire experience. And what is that takeaway, you ask? I'll tell you – my blog has grown and I have grown as a blogger. Wow. I know, I know. You're thinking, "Couldn't you have just looked at the numbers to see that you've grown, that you've got more readers, that you're getting more page views?" Yep. But I'm talking about the intangible. I'm talking about someone coming up to you and saying, "I read your blog/follow you on Instagram and I love…" It's hearing one blogger tell another blogger about you, "She's a big deal." It's coming away from the conference feeling that you have knowledge that you can share with newer bloggers. Yeah. All of that happened for me and it felt good. I think sometimes we don't realize just how far we've come with our blogs and it's enlightening to hear what other bloggers think of you. I mean, it seems like I was just attending my first Blogalicious and thinking the same about the bloggers I met there – "They're a big deal." So, thank you to ALL of the bloggers, speakers, and most of all, to Justice Fergie and the Blogalicious team, for making this a truly wonderful experience. Check out some of my photos from the weekend.
Anyway, I hope you were following my tweets during the conference, but if not, don't fret. I've compiled all of my tweets here for you:
