Hello, Fall! Towards the end of Summer, I began to make a list of my Fall Must-Haves and at the top of my list was a new Travel/Work/Blogger bag. I needed a bag that would hold all of my technology, reading material, journal and pen, and snacks. I needed a bag that would be sturdy and not break after a couple of carries (I tend to carry a lot in a bag). Most important, I needed a bag with style. Enter Marshalls – literally and figuratively. So, Marshalls sent me my first Project Fab Challenge that came with another $100 Marshalls gift card. I knew right away what I wanted to shop for – a bag that would meet all of the above needs. So, I grabbed my gift card and headed to Marshalls.
I perused the handbag aisles and saw several cute handbags that I would love to add to my collection, but I resisted because, although stylish and durable, they wouldn't quite fit my other needs for my Fall Must-Have bag. Then I saw it. The London Fog grey croc tote. I'd never owned a London Fog product, but it was a name that I was familiar with and I knew that it would be durable (check). It was large enough to fit everything that I need to carry from my laptop and camera to my journal and tablet (check). And yes, it was stylish (check). I had found my Fall Must-Have bag. I knew that this bag was going home with me
as long as it was under $100. I flipped over the price tag and saw that it was only $59.99 (compared to $120 that you might pay in other stores). YES! Hashtag winning. Hashtag Fab Found.
I immediately knew how I wanted to spend the rest of my Challenge money – on a matching grey Michael Kors zippered skirt that I saw when I first entered the store. I grabbed a size 4 off the rack and headed to the fitting room to try it on (I also grabbed a jacket to try on with it to get an idea of how I would style it with a piece from my closet). I knew that with the right top and with my new Fall bag, I could pull together a great edgy, yet professional look. And the price tag? $34.99 (compared to $70 that you might pay at another store). Hashtag don't you wish your lawyer was stylish like me. Hashtag Fab Found (again).
Be sure to head to Marshalls to check out all of the great handbags and work wear to upgrade your fall wardrobe. Tweet, Facebook, and Instagram your finds using the hashtag "#FabFound" to be entered to win a $50 gift card from Marshalls. Now tell me. What's on your Fall Must-Haves list?
Disclosure: I have received free products or value from Marshalls of The TJX Companies, Inc. in connection with my affiliation with Marshalls Project FAB.
