BET’s The Game Season 6

So, remember that show called The Game?  Yeah.  It's coming back this month.  Season 6 of The Game premieres Tuesday, March 26 on BET.  It's been a while since the last season finale so here's a little recap of where things left off:

  • Melanie and Derwin were making their exit from the show.  Derwin was ready to follow Melanie back to the East Coast after the San Diego Sabers won the Championship.
  • Malik seemed to be returning to his old party, playboy self.
  • Tasha and Pookie were still together, but Rick Fox made a cameo in the finale, so he might be trying to re-enter the picture.
  • Jason re-proposed to Chardonnay outside of her new spa, Spadonnay, and they burned up the annulment papers.

This season we will see the introduction of 2 new main characters who will try to fill the void left by the departure of Derwin and Melanie.  I say "try" because to me The Game is Derwin and Melanie.  I will be tuning in again this season, so check back each week after the premiere for the return of The Game recaps.  Will you be watching?

This is exciting news!!! I loved that show…and even though the last 2 seasons weren't that great, I tuned in anyway.  I miss Kelley…and the old Brittany.  Not sure how I feel about this new couple replacing my dear Melanie and Derwin but we'll see how it turns out!

I missed the whole Season 5, so I'm hoping I catch on with Season 6. I miss the old Kelly and Brittany too! I don't like that the main characters are gone too (Mel & Derwin)… Oh, I hope this works out or else it may be the last season it seems..

Without Derwin and Mel this just maybe the last season for the game

It will be sad to no longer have Derwin and Melanie on the show, but I’m really excited to see what the two new characters are like on the Game this season. I’m always at work at DISH when this show is on so I record it on my DVR. My roommates and I like to set up our DISH Hopper to record up to six programs at once during primetime. With this we never argue about what to watch or record.
