Black skirt suit (The Limited) | Polka dot blouse (Sunny Leigh/Belk) | Black belt (The Limited)
Black tights (HUE/Macy's) | Beads earrings in sterling silver (Tiffany & Co.)
As you probably already know, I'm a lawyer and when I wear this skirt suit, I really feel
sexy lawyerly. As much as I embraced color this past spring and summer, black never does me wrong. Black will always be my go-to color when I want to feel powerful and/or sexy (at work and at play). A fitted skirt, polka dots, and ruffles gives a business suit a nice feminine touch, and I'm all about femininity.
So, I've decided that these InstaStyle posts will also be a place where I'll write about random stuff. This week I started watching Downton Abbey. If you follow me on Twitter (@BlitzAndGlam) then you already knew this because I've tweeted about it a lot. I must say this is my new favorite show! I'd heard all the hype about Downton Abbey so this past weekend I spent an entire day watching almost all of Season 1 and the next day finished that season and started season 2. I'm currently in the middle of season 2 (which I'm watching via Hulu). It's set in the early 1900s in England and focuses on an upperclass family and the people who work for them in their home.
Do you watch it? What do you think? If you start watching it, be sure to let me know what you think of it! Be sure to follow me on Twitter and Instagram (BlitzAndGlam).
