Saturday evening I attended the Modern Class Design launch in Atlanta to benefit Camp MODA. As I stated in my post last week, Modern Class Design is the interior design company founded by San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis and his business partner Antone Barnes. The fundraising event featuring art, design, and fashion was held at the Museum of Design Atlanta with the purpose of funding the attendance of inner city students at the art focused Camp MODA.
I had a chance to speak with Vernon about design and the upcoming NFL season:
Tamara: What would be your dream design project?
Vernon: To work on The White House.
Tamara: I know that you think that the 49ers are a Super Bowl favorite. What team or what in general do you think will be the biggest obstacle in getting to New Orleans?
Vernon: Focus. We have to stay focused. That's one of our biggest obstacles, because when you have success it's easy to lose focus. So we just have to stay focused.

Quite a unique endeavor. I like it.
I love seeing what other people are interested in outside of their primary profession. Great post!
