What I Wore: Game Day Glam – Arkansas Razorbacks at Vanderbilt Commodores

This past weekend I traveled to Nashville to visit my friend Christina (follow her @ChristinaM96) to attend not one, but two football games.  Christina picked me up from the airport Saturday morning and we headed straight downtown to the Arkansas/Vanderbilt game.

I love SEC football, so I was excited to be in SEC territory for the day.  I ordinarily wouldn't cheer for or against either team, but since Christina is an Arkansas alum, I cheered for Arkansas.  Christina even got me to take part in the hog call that the cheerleaders, band, and fans did during the game.

Everyone in our section was wearing Arkansas colors except me and a group of guys dressed as fans of other SEC teams (my favorite was the guy wearing a long blonde mullet wig dressed as an Alabama fan).  So what did I wear?  Auburn apparel, of course.

The great people at Meesh & Mia sent me several pieces of Auburn apparel and I could not wait to wear some of it, so I proudly represented my SEC team at the game.  This Auburn flair tie cardigan is my favorite piece that I received and the great thing about it is that you can wear it many different ways (check out the video below for examples of the different ways you can wear it).  I wore it wrapped around my body and tied in the back.  For Auburn, it also comes in orange and white.

Did I say that I love this cardigan?  You all should know by now how much I love cardigans (I'm officially calling myself the Cardigan Queen©).

I wore it with a white V-neck short sleeve shirt, dark blue skinny jeans, and brown suede wedge boots.  Meesh & Mia knew that I would be attending this game and were kind enough to send some Arkansas pieces for Christina too, but because my flight got in a little later than scheduled there wasn't enough time for us to run to her place to try on the pieces and pick one to wear to the game.  I can say though that Christina loves the pieces that they sent her and will send me photos when she wears them (and she has already picked out other pieces that she plans to purchase).

You guys know how much I like to wear stylish pieces to represent my team and Meesh & Mia does a great job of merging style and team spirit.  Not only is it stylish, but the quality of the clothing is top-notch.  They are always adding new schools and new styles.  In fact, since I received my pieces, I've seen several new schools and styles added.  I plan to order more pieces for myself, and since my Mom and sister are also big Auburn fans, I will very likely get them a piece or two for Christmas as well.  Stay tuned for future posts showing off the other pieces that Meesh & Mia sent me.  Like Meesh & Mia on Facebook and follow them on Twitter for the latest information on new schools and styles and for any promotional discounts AND I hear that they have a BIG sweepstakes coming up that might involve the BCS National Championship game!

LOVE that cardi. I need one in my life. Because you are the Cardigan Princess (sorry, dear, I've already claimed Cardigan Queen) is one of the reasons you're one of my favorite people.
