Since starting Blitz And Glam, there is something that I can't do anymore.
S leep. I can't shop without seeing colors. I know that you're thinking, "Tamara, unless you're color-blind or regular blind, we all see colors." Yes, this is true. What I mean is that when I shop, I see team colors. I walk into a store and scan the room and I see Saints gold, Cowboys blue, Packers green. I read a magazine and see Auburn orange, Oregon (highlighter) yellow, and yes, even Bama red (Ok, crimson. Whatever.). Well, early one morning a couple of weeks ago, I happened to wake up at 2 am and couldn't go back to sleep, so I started reading Glamour magazine (September 2011 issue). One page in particular really caught my interest–a spread featuring clutches in various colors. In particular my eye was drawn to the Vikings purple Urban Expressions clutch at the top of the page. Not only did the color pop off the page, but also the price–$50 at ebags.com. Well, if you know me, you know that I always check to see if amazon.com has something before I order it, because if they have it, they usually have it for less. This time was no exception. I found it on amazon.com for $45 and what was even better was that I had more than enough money in my Amazon account to cover the cost of the bag. So, at 2:07 am I placed my order for this clutch.
If you read my post from the Titans and Colts game, you might remember that I almost didn't get my handbag into the game because it wouldn't fit inside their measuring box. Well, if the stadium or dome that you're visiting has a ridiculous bag size policy (I'm looking at you, LP Field), you might want to consider carrying a clutch.
Move over, Cris Collinsworth. I'm giving new meaning to color commentator.
