By now, you should know that I'm an Auburn fan, but you might not know that I was born and raised in Alabama. *cue Sweet Home Alabama* So as you can imagine, I'm very excited about seeing the latest ESPN Films' documentary Roll Tide/War Eagle which premieres on ESPN Tuesday, November 8 at 8 PM ET. This hour-long documentary takes a look at the history of the in-state rivalry through the eyes and voices of both schools' players, coaches, icons, controversial figures, and fans. It will feature interviews with Bo Jackson, Charles Barkley, Cam Newton, Mark Ingram, and Nick Saban, just to name a few. It will also highlight events that have taken place in the last 2 years–from a national title for both schools to Heisman winners from both schools to poisoned trees and a catastrophic tornado that brought both sides together. There is no sports rivalry that means as much to Alabamians as this rivalry. Regardless of whether you went to Auburn or Alabama or attended a different college or university (I didn't attend either school) or didn't attend college at all, if you were raised in Alabama, you pick a side. War Eagle!
