Locked And Loaded Trailer

Friday I received a Google Alert in my email for a "Blitz And Glam" mention on the web, so I checked it out.  Imagine my surprise to find Blitz And Glam mentioned right alongside ESPN and Necole Bitchie in a blog post on indieWIRE.com (Mama, I made it!!  Ha ha.  Just kidding.) about writer/director Matthew Cherry and his film The Last Fall.  I was happy to read that there has been a lot of interest in the film, because I really want to see this film.

Matthew has also been working on another project that I'm excited to see called Locked And Loaded.  It is a documentary short about the 2011 NFL Lockout and from the trailer it seems that it focuses on the "little guys."  While many characterized the Lockout as "millionaires versus billionaires" this documentary takes a look at the practice squad guys, the small business owner, and the bar manager who would have been affected if the Lockout had continued and the football season never started.  Here's the trailer:

I always wondered about the little guys and how they were coming along with the lockout.  The hourly employees were greatly affected too and we never heard anything about them.  This sounds like a great film.

Go Jags! (even if we've lost three games in a row!)
