Since I started the month off with a post about how the NFL was recognizing October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I thought I would end the month with a way that I gave my support to the cause. As a blogger and a Glambassador, Ford wanted me to be a Warrior in Pink and recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month by wearing their "Reach for the Moon" t-shirt inspired by Lifetime's Five, an anthology of five short films exploring the impact of breast cancer on people's lives.
The shirt that they sent me was designed by Jennifer Aniston, one of the executive producers of Five. This unisex t-shirt is available for purchase for $20 and 100% of the proceeds ($12.55 per shirt) goes to Susan G. Komen for the Cure®.
I recently wore my t-shirt as I traveled to Washington, DC for Blogalicious 11.
You can also "Like" the Ford Warriors in Pink Facebook page (and tell your family and friends to do the same) to show your support, because $1 is donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure® for every "Like" during the month of October.
