Earlier this week the big news in the sports business world was that PepsiCo Inc. and the NFL signed a new 10-year deal that begins next week. According the a report by the Wall Street Journal the deal carries a value of about $2.3 billion dollars. PepsiCo's Gatorade will continue to be served to athletes during games and Pepsi MAX will continue to be the official soft drink of the NFL.
While on set shooting its new NFL commercial that will begin airing later in the season, Pepsi MAX caught up with New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez to talk about his pre-game rituals, his role as an influential Latino in the sports industry, the biggest change since leaving USC, and gifts that he's received from fans.
They also caught up with the New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan who talked about his new tattoo, the most stylish player on the team, and of course, the Jets chances of a Super Bowl victory (can you guess what he said?).
