Friday morning I woke up to see that not only did it snow throughout the night, but that it was still snowing Friday morning. I think heard that Dallas got about 5 inches of snow. I knew that the roads would be a little better because the snow would add traction on top of the ice, so driving was a little easier. As the day went on it warmed up a little and the snow started to melt, which unfortunately meant that it would refreeze and make the roads treacherous again by nightfall. I had an event to attend that afternoon, so once again, I was not going to let the snow and ice stop me. Friday afternoon I headed to the Belmont Hotel for the GMC VIP Tailgate. Thanks again to GMC for treating me like VIP and giving me access to their VIP events.
The hotel is located on a hill and the event was inside this tent with a view of downtown Dallas. To the left in this picture was the food, drinks, and DJ and the gifting suites were located in hotel rooms to the right.
The GMC Denali on display. Yes, please. I'll take one in black. Nice!
Look! We match! I can see myself driving this Denali…
Me and Baltimore Ravens Ray Rice. Very nice guy! I saw him again that weekend and both times he seemed to be having a great time and just enjoying it all.
I ran into someone I already knew – Me and San Diego Chargers Donald Strickland. Great seeing him!
Oh! Look who just walked by me! Heisman Trophy winner Cam Newton! If you don't know, I'm a huge Auburn fan so my heart almost stopped when he walked by.
I asked Cam Newton for a picture and he so politely told me, "I'm sorry, ma'am. I can't take any pictures." That doesn't mean I can't snap some pictures anyway (right?)! Also, pictured Kansas City Chiefs Corey Mays.
Me and Holly Montag (sister of Heidi Montag) from MTV's The Hills. I think she was surprised that I knew who she was.
Me and Ronnie from MTV's Jersey Shore (Sam was nowhere to be found). *Fist pump*
Me and Kansas City Chiefs Corey Mays who saw my pink and green scarf and asked if I'm an AKA (yep!).
Did you guys notice how I didn't have my coat on in those earlier pictures? Trying to be cute I guess. Ha. No, it actually wasn't too cold inside the tent earlier in the evening, but by the last picture as you can see it was darker outside and a little bit colder (and I was about to leave). Stay tuned for more pictures!
