The NFL Looks Better Than Ever

For the past two years, Phillips-Van Heusen Corporation, one of the world's largest apparel companies, has been sponsoring the Pro Football Hall of Fame under it's Van Heusen brand, and just this year entered into a multi-year sponsorship agreement with the New York Giants.  Now, the Van Heusen brand has entered into a sponsorship agreement with the NFL.  The campaign, which will kick-off this Thanksgiving weekend, will focus on the brand's Pro Football Hall of Fame Fan's Choice program (www.fanschoice.com).  The Fan's Choice Program is a forum where fans can "debate, discuss, and cast their ballot for who they believe should be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2011."  (Phillips-Van Heusen, November 22, 2010 Press Release)  The Van Heusen brand will also sponsor the Giant's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars this Sunday.

 

While you might not be as familiar with the Phillips-Van Heusen name, I'm sure you're quite familiar with a number of its other brands: Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, IZOD, ARROW, Bass and G.H. Bass & Co., and its licensed brands, Geoffrey Beene, Kenneth Cole New York, Kenneth Cole Reaction, MICHAEL Michael Kors, Sean Jean, Chaps, Trump, JOE Joseph Abboud, DKNY, and Timberland.
